Genius Ideas I Need to Snag! (& One I Already Did!)

Happy Friday! Do you have any big plans? Other than a wedding Saturday night, we hope to simply relax and soak up the backyard. And I’m crossing my fingers to finish up some projects I’ve been working on, too. Today I thought I’d share with you the projects in Blog Land that have my heart beating faster.

Three Pixie Lane threw the cutest Great Outdoor Party for her son. My son’s birthday is next month, but I fear he’s outgrown letting me hose down his party with cuteness. I’m lobbying pretty hard, and this party just makes me all that more determined!

Those are s’mores cupcakes!!!

I’ve been toying with the idea of painting the inside of a lampshade metallic gold, but Haute Khuuture’s Gold Leafed Shades blows that out of the water! Gorgeous.

Gold Leaf Drum Shades
Not to mention her table setting!

Mandi at Vintage Revivals always has great makeovers, but her Mirrored Dresser is one of my favorites yet. Think she gets distracted every time she walks by wearing cute shoes? I would!

I love learning to do the technical stuff for this blog myself, so I’m definitely saving Twenty-Six to Life’s tutorial on How to Make a Blog Button.

And lastly, WhipperBerry shared the cutest Father’s Day printable! For Free! I’m so amazed by all the bloggers that share their talents and ideas.

Father’s Day POP Printable

I’ve already put this one to good use! I took the Father’s Day theme one step further, and tied WhipperBerry’s Printable to bottles of Dad’s Root Beer (found at World Market).

Your head just popped off with cuteness overload, right?!

Look for these projects to pop up on Hi Sugarplum in the near future! What projects are you snagging inspired by lately? Happy Weekend, loves!

Oh, I struggle with cuteness. I love seeing it executed correctly — I feel like whenever I try it ends up being a giant belly flop in the lake of life 😉 I did see that party the other day too, and it's DARLING. I tried to convince my son to use that as his theme for next month, but NOPE — he picked Mario Brothers. Of course. 😉

Love the shades too, they are gorg. Have fun this weekend!

Those gold-leaf shades are fab. I gold-leafed a shade recently, but didn't think to do the spary-painting step, so mine turned out pretty patchy and gross-looing… now I can go back and fix it up!
