Faves Under $50

Welcome back to a new week! My heart is so heavy today for our friends in south Texas and all along the coast. We’ve been witness to devastating hurricanes in the past, but never have I seen anything this horrifying and disastrous. Many of you were so kind to check on us, but yes, we’re completely fine and out of the storm’s path. It’s such a helpless feeling watching our friends go through this, and all we can do is offer our prayers, financial support, and a place to stay if they need it.

There are several ways to help, including the American Red CrossThe Salvation ArmySamaritan’s Purse, Save The Children, and Heart to Heart International. If you’re in Texas, food banks throughout the state are also accepting donations for people affected by the storm.

Today on the blog is another round of Faves Under $50, featuring several new finds. Here are a few great deals I’m crushing on recently, and all under $50!

faves under $50

one // Twist Front Fleece Pullover I have this cozy shirt from last year, and wore it with everything from jeans to athletic pants. The fun twist front gives it a half-tuck look, while the back is long enough to cover your bum. It comes in tons of great colors, and is fleecy soft.

two // Peplum Tee How can you go wrong with peplum? I recently fell for this relaxed tee with fun ruffled hem (see my outfit here), it’s so soft, and a great transitional piece. It’s available in a few solids, and two cute stripes.

three // Jumbo Agenda Even with all the apps and phone gadgets, I’m still a pen and paper-planner kind of girl. I love picking out a new one every year. This one not only has all the main calendar requirements for me, but it’s super cute! It’s a 17-month calendar, too, so you could grab it now, and use it through the end of 2018!

four // Bistro Chairs Yes, this darling bistro chair is under $50. Oh wait…even better…it’s TWO for under $50! I’m smitten with the aqua!

five // Bamboo Cordless Shade Our downstairs family room has been a slow-go as far as decor goes, but I couldn’t handle the naked windows any longer. These shades are amazing, even more so because of the price! The color and material is spot-on, and they’re cordless!

six // Quirky Doormat These funny doormats always make me laugh…they’re perfect for a back door or porch.

seven // Leopard Belt Every wardrobe needs a leopard belt. Seriously, it’s in my top 10 closet essentials…and this one is the perfect width and the pattern is so chic. Honestly, you could get by with only a single belt…this one.

eight // Block-Heel Suede Sandal These gorgeous sandals are the best transition shoe for Fall…the suede makes them multi-seasonal and the block-heel keeps them comfortable.

nine // Leather Pouch Clutch This pouch makes a great clutch, or carry-all for your larger bag. It’s available in a gorgeous cognac, too, and would only get more classic with age.

ten // Brass Desk Lamp The shape and style of this lamp is timeless, and works in so many spaces around the house. I’d love two bookended on my desk!

This sweatshirt with ruffle collar just barely missed the $50 cut-off, but I’m completely cuckoo for it! What’s your favorite find of this round? See more Faves Under $50 here.

  2. Those bistro chairs are so, so cute! I’ve been on the hunt for some so thanks for the link! It looks like they are $95 for the pair so more like one for less than $50 🙂

I’ve been crushing on the twist front fleece top ever since you showed it last year. I keep hunting to see if it ever goes on sale (like I NEED another top?). I may have to put it on my birthday wish list…

So sad and sorry over what’s going on in Texas right now. I toughed it out in a hurricane in Houston once. Never again.
Those sandals are to die for! I wonder if I’m too old to wear those?? I’m older than your mom, I think-ha,ha!
    Prayers to kind, kind Texans!

My thoughts go to all in Texas right now. We went through the devastating floods that hit Queensland, in 2011. We lost our home and pretty much all we owned so I know very well how this plays out. There is never really a positive to a natural disaster but what it does do is pull a community together and all other quarrels and prejudices are forgotten. Stay strong Texas!

I am so sorry to hear that, Alison! I hope you’ve recovered now. It is devastating to watch this unfold in our state, but we’re doing all we can to help! xoxo
