Faves Under $50 | #girlsweekend Edition

Welcome back to a new week! I hope your weekend was grand! We decided last-minute to attend a fancy fundraiser party, with a dress code of ‘Anything Hollywood.’ #huh? I had no clue what that meant, or what to wear…but Instagram friends to the rescue! I put my top three contenders on my Story, and the overwhelming vote was for this little number (last worn here). I received so many compliments on it, but I did wish I’d skipped having tacos two days in a row! #tacobaby #worthit

In other fun news, I’m leaving for a girl’s weekend this Friday…to Vegas, baby! There are seven of us, and we’ve been friends since first grade…so like, 20 years. #girlmath Okay, maybe a few more years than that, but who’s counting. Basically enough years that we’re more like family than just friends…these are my people.

We’re spread out across the country now, so these annual trips are always a highlight of my year. Occasionally stepping away from the responsibilities of grown-up life is good for my soul…and sanity! Even though it’s only a couple of nights, I always return with a renewed energy…and sore stomach muscles! No one makes me laugh harder than these girls!

So today’s Faves Under $50 is dedicated to the great deals I’m crushing on lately, all perfect for a girl’s weekend!

one // This cozy off-the-shoulder sweatshirt is great with jeans and boots, and lounging around the hotel catching up on girl talk!

two // My favorite $12 mirrored aviators look exactly like the ‘real deal’, and they just released a new oversized version.

three // The easiest way to jazz-up an outfit with with fun earrings, and this statement pair is not only fun and bold, but super lightweight.

four // Our trips always involve a hefty amount of guacamole, and more than a few margaritas. This breezy shift dress is so darling, and perfect for concealing the damage. Wear it with strappy heels for a night out, or flat sandals for shopping and lunch.

five // A great weekender bag for quick trips, or used as a carry-on for longer trips. The sturdy handles and classic style mean you’ll have it for years.

six // What’s the point of traveling sans-kids if you can’t escape to your own music and movie world?! But our house is an ear-bud black hole…I can never seem to find a pair when I’m headed out! #Iblamethekids If I’m going to replace a pair, might as well go a little glam with the gold-trim, right?!

seven // If you prefer smaller earrings, these studs come in a ton of fun color options…and at 2 pair for $10, you can stock up as girl-gifts, too!

eight // It’s rare to find a good neutral sandal for under $50, and this cage pair would be great for both jeans and dresses.

nine // Girl-talk must take place over chocolate! It’s practically code. These chocolatey, crispy cookies are my favorites, and the perfect size for smuggling in my bag.

ten // Racerback dresses are my weakness…they’re just so dang flattering! I love the soft material and longer length of this one, plus it can be worn as a dress, swimsuit cover-up, or nightgown! That’s major cost-per-wear happening.

eleven // These thick, cotton joggers came home with me after the last Dressing Room Diaries, and I haven’t stopped wearing them. They make a great travel outfit when paired with my favorite white tee, a denim jacket, and these sneakers.

twelve // My go-to girls night out combo is a flowing tank, jeans, heels and statement earrings. This top fits the formula perfectly, and comes in a ton of gorgeous colors.

And let’s not forget my favorite draped tee, which is available in several great neutrals, and on sale for 20! What great deals have you spotted lately? Have a joyful Monday, lovebugs!

Glad you chose the red! We went to Vegas earlier this month…to me brunch in Vegas is everything…bottomless mimosas even better. We ate at Hexx Kitchen, Mesa Grill and Hash House a Gogo at the link…I loved them all! We also tried out Eggslut and it was delish. If y’all go downtown totally do the zipline. 🙂

The Gap cotton joggers above did not work for me. Ordered a medium, could have worn an extra small, and even after washing and drying, they are even more baggy and stretched out. You must have received a better product and lucked out. Several other reviewers on Gap had the same experience as me with these pants. I would never wear these out to run an errand, possibly gardening, but they won’t hold up. Already, ripped 3 inches in the seam after one washing. Have followed through on other recommendations of yours and they’ve been win/wins. Just wanted to alert some of your readers to this particular pant’s limitations (incl price for a poor product).
