Most women are complex, multi-layered spiritual beings, that wear a multitude of hats, and carry a list of labels. Wife, mother, nurturer, volunteer, cheerleader, team player, mentor, breadwinner, friend, listener, lunch-packer, vixen. #superwoman None of us is one-dimensional, and the roles we play and fill in our lives are vast.
In fact, Mr. Sugarplum says my air of mystery is what drew him to me when we first met. Not in a secretive, cryptic way, but as soon as he thought he had me figured out, I showed another side of myself. It kept him guessing and on his toes.
We all have layers, and can not be defined by a single role or label. Sweet or sassy? Nope, it’s more like sweet and sassy, because we can be both, all at the same time! Granted sometimes it’s a little uncomfortable showing sassier sides of our personalities, but what better time to remind your hubby (and yourself!) that you’re a bombshell, than Valentine’s Day?!

True this dress isn’t exactly in my comfort-zone…my wheelhouse is closer to this outfit…but as soon as I slipped it on (with a little bit of tugging here and there), I felt a certain level of power come over me. Dare I say, girl power?!
Sure fashion is shallow and trivial, but there’s no denying the confidence and vigor that comes from feeling good in your outfit. Sometimes that’s the first step towards feeling good in your own skin, too.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, and while it was a tad snug through the hips, the fabric has enough give to accommodate my shape. I’m wearing this bra to help fill out the top, and these undies for a seam-free look.

Even though it’s definitely a sexy silhouette, the sturdy material and longer length kept me from feeling too exposed. This is one of those illogical dresses you need to keep in your closet on stand-by…just in case! Trust me, your hubby will love it!
On the flip side, this casual and comfy outfit is just as befitting to who I am. Not to mention, adorable for anytime, but especially for celebrating Valentine week with your kids and girlfriends.

These stretchy jeans and comfy sneakers are perfect for running around, and the bag and punchy earrings pull it all together and make it festive.
Fit Tip: The jeans run true to size and fit closer to a jegging (great for knee boots!), but size down one-half in the sneakers.
