Okay, I’m pretty sure my mom just spit coffee all over her computer. No, I’m not making any big announcements here…that shop has closed for the Winter…but with some of my favorite bloggers currently pregnant (Michelle, Natasha, Emily and Sarah), I do have nurseries on the brain. Can we talk about how many pregnant bloggers that is?! Remind me not to drink the water in their areas!
I digress. Even though I’m not having more babies, I still love a beautifully designed nursery….bright, serene, modern, vintage…I love them all! So when Glidden introduced their new MyColortopia widget for nursery inspiration, I couldn’t resist playing along (you can play, too).
After taking the fun five question quiz, it came up with this series of colors and combinations for my hypothetical Baby Sugarplum.
They pretty much nailed it for me…I love the pink and blue for a girl’s nursery, and the blue and orange would be perfect for my boy. In fact, I think I’ll file that combo away for when my son’s room needs an update. MyColortopia has tools for every room in the house, not to mention serious bloggers as contributors (like Kate and Stefanie, hello!?) I love these mood boards put together by the other contributors as inspiration (click the links for resources).
