{Christmas} Freebie Fun

Ever since I made this little banner, I’ve been obsessed with printables. Correction: FREE printables!

There are many talented designers out there, and some of them are so generous as to share their talents and designs via their blogs. I’ve come across oodles of super cute Holiday free printables lately, so I thought I’d assemble a few for you guys.
I’m always looking for new ways to package gift cards (the flat envelope is so boring!)…How About Orange made these bags from envelopes and tape! (There is a reason why Jessica’s blog is in my ‘Good Reads,’ the girl is talented!)

If you’re having a dinner party, why not create custom menus? Rachie at A Chi Chi Affair rounded up some great options, including this lovely freebie:

I couldn’t make it through the Holidays without my To-Do List. I think it’d be a lot more fun if my list were on one of these:
Paper Glitter (where I found my Thanksgiving banner!):
This one isn’t necessarily Holiday-related…but I know my blogger buddies will like the ‘Dreamy Blog Topics to Post List’, from Erin Vale Design:

And gift tags! Oh the options…nothing makes a package cuter than the perfect gift tag!
Camilla Engman created tags out of these darling characters:

Creature Comforts offered these adorable reindeer tags from guest blogger, Kristina at Studio 67:

Did you know West Elm has DIY printables?!? They currently have 4 sets with gift tags, and 4 others that include recipe cards and menus:
Books are one of my favorite gifts to give, especially to kids. You could write a special note to the recipient on one of these bookplates from Pilgrim, via the Frecklewonder blog.

If I could get my act together, I’d host a Cookie Exchange Party for my kids, their friends and moms. Truthfully, mostly because I’d love to use all this fun stuff from Joy Ever After (the set also comes with recipe cards and blank cards for labeling the cookies). Cuteness overload!
Or maybe a Dessert Party using this invite from Real Simple(Didn’t know they offered printables either!? They’ve currently got 9 to choose from, including a New Year’s Eve party invite.):
Invy’s has a selection of customizable free invitations, and you can even change the colors and fonts:
And with 2010 drawing to a close, I’ll be looking for a new calendar. I think I’ve found it with this amazing {free!!} Owl Lover Calendar. Shivani from My Owl Barn assembled 30 super-talented artists, and each contributed owl art for the calendar. You are able to customize by choosing 12 of your favorite prints, and deciding which month to assign to each.

And finally, this isn’t exactly a printable. (Okay, it’s not a printable at all.) My previous work has always been in creative fields, advertising and publication, so I’m kind of a geek about fonts. Type Depot has made Matilde available as a free download!
Let me know how it goes if you use any of these! Do you have favorite resources for free downloads and printables? Share them in the comments section!

  1. Oh, I love all of these. Free printables are so awesome… and as much as I HATE To-Do lists, I really want to print the Erin Vale lists… and write lots of things on them and just look at how pretty they are.

And maybe do a couple of things on the list, too.
