Thanks so much for your kind words on yesterday’s post…ya’ll are really too good to me. Especially overlooking my frizzball vacation hair! Now you see why hats are my friend in the Summer months.
Today we’re going from Island Style to touches of Fall…how’s that for blogger ADD? I love Fall, but I always have a hard time saying goodbye to Summer. I tend to hold on a little longer to the casual style, and a little tighter to the lazy days…wearing my flip-flops until the last possible second, and denying the pumpkin spice lattes swirling around me.
But eventually I get there, and once I pull on the boots and scarves, it’s Fall-time! So when Marty at A Stroll Through Life asked me to participate in her Fall Home Tours, I hesitated for a second, then jumped at the chance to usher in Fall. The allure of boots and lattes was just too strong!

I don’t change up too much around the house, and save the major holiday decorating for Christmas (see our previous Christmas Home Tours here), but I do like to swap out pillows and throws, and bring in Fall foliage and flowers.

I started playing with a classic equestrian theme for this year’s table…I love the fresh green and woven texture combo. Quite the opposite of last year’s glam table of hot pink and gold!

It may still be 90-degrees out, but I’m just about ready for you, Fall! Have you started breaking out the cozy throws and pinecones yet?
And a big Texas welcome to those of you stopping by from my friend Mallory at Style Your Senses! You can see more of our house here…specifically our newly remodeled Kitchen and Master Bedroom. And if you’re ready for Fall, be sure to check out How to Transition to Fall and {5 Ways} to Wear Boots.
The next stop on today’s Fall Tour of Homes is Remodelando La Casa…so hop over and show Cristina some love. For tons more Fall decor inspiration, check out the full, fabulous blogger lineup.

The perfect amount of fall! I'm struuuuugling doing anything with these temps. I wore jeans yesterday thinking I could will cooler temps my way. Didn't work and I about died from heat exhaustion 😀 I'm really digging the direction your taking your table this year!
True that! Wait until you see tomorrow's post…I tried to bring a little Fall style inspiration and almost had a heat stroke!!! But man the booties were cute! 😉 #priorities
Great inspiration! I decorated for fall for the first time EVER (I always wait for Christmas), but I had such fun throwing out burlap pumpkins and such around the new house!
I'd be puttering all over your house too….so gorgeous!
So I couldn't get my spelling right in the last post…need coffee…but what I meant to say was…
#1 Now I'm craving a caramel apple, that's just great, so thanks for that 😉 #2 LOVE everything and especially love where the equestrian table is going. Can't wait to see you!!! xoxo
Next week…yay!!! Thanks for the sweet words, and loved your tour, too, friend!!
I love your kitchen and all it's great decor and those apples look soooooooo good. I really love the equestrian table decor too. Gorgeous. Great fall tour, loved it all.
Thanks for putting it together and including me, Marty! The apples were delicious…and gone in 5 minutes after the pics!! 😉
What a gorgeous Kitchen you have! My first time stopping by and just loving your home.
Thank you so much, Deb…I'm thrilled you stopped by. I hope you find some inspiration here!
Yay pumpkins! The julep cup and roses says Kentucky Derby to me. We go all out up here, I have a sign on the door, a cinnamon wreath, fall candles, leaf garlands, signs, pillows etc. The difference is probably bc we arent big xmas ppl, we live in a farm town where the harvest is much more important than christmas and we arent christian. Go crazy for xmas (I cant wait to see it!) while we freak out for fall!!!! Swing on by for the Harvest Festival or Apple Days if youre ever nearby!!!
Apple Days and a Harvest Festival sound amazing…so lucky to live in an area with all those festivities!!!
What do you think of the West Elm gold flatware? I've been on the fence for a while and I'd love to hear your opinion!
I received it as a gift almost 3 years ago, and still love it as much as the day I got it! It's held up beautifully and goes in the dishwasher!
Beautiful, Cassie. Love that pumpkin with the orange flowers. Yes. . still crazy hot over here and very much trying to hold on to the summer. Kids still want to swim after school!
Thanks, friend! Yep…kids come home, eat a carameled apple, then go out for a swim. 😉 Seasonal confusion!
Cassie,
I love how you added small touches around the house for fall without having it look overdone. BTW still in love with your kitchen backsplash.
Jenn
Thanks Jenn….I worried that I might tire of such a bold backsplash, but it still makes me gasp! Hope your days is off to a great start!
Truly awesome autumnal goodness. Love the kitchen.
Now that is a good word…I'm totally going to work autumnal into my conversations today!
Beautiful tour! I just adore your kitchen!
Loving the nightstands, however the firewall at work blocked it as being something notorious. Could you please let me know where you got them; they match my new closet to perfection.
Would love to get into fall mode, but 102 degrees in San Diego isn't conducive to boots and PSL's!
Darn Firewalls!!! They are actually console tables from Wayfair!! xo
I'm with you with wanting to put off fall for a little bit… this summer went by entirely too fast!! However, I now want your 2 Ingredient Pumpkin Cake immediately! So maybe I am caving to the fall temptations!
You could totally eat that cake by the pool! 😉
You had me at "bits of fall" :). xo
Love all your fun touches, but seriously you could put a pile of hay in front of that tile and it would look fabulous! 🙂 Haha! No pumpkins or pinecones over here, but I've just been inspired and think caramel apples should make a debut!
I love your fall touches!

I'm pretty sure I would just sleep in the kitchen so I could stare at it's beauty as I drift off if I lived at your house… gorgeous tour, Cassie!
I'm a fan of the two ingredient pumpkin dessert but I've always made it as muffins. I'll try your bunt cake version. My trick is to use a spice cake mix (it's even better that way!) or add pumpkin pie spice mix (you can find it in buik spices in some stores or make up a batch using a recipe from the internet). YUM! I also like to use the spice mix in pumpkin smoothies; just a little over 1/2 cup frozen pumpkin puree, milk (I always use almond milk in our lactose intolerant house), spice mix and sweeten to taste. Blend and enjoy. It's like liquid pumpkin pie for us pumpkin lovers ….
Also loved your pumpkin vase …
Well that sounds divine!! Thanks for sharing! xo
Your kitchen is adorable, I'm drooling all over that beautiful tile… and apples! Pretty bits of fall. 😉
I haven't read through the comments, so perhaps someone already mentioned this. Zulily has had several Christmas sales with unfinished wooden name ornaments. Pehaps you can add the other names that way?!
Genius!! Thanks so much, Tara!
Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor from drooling over that backsplash tile – it's so gorgeous! I loved your tour – you are a styling maven!!
Your home is beautiful! Every time I visit I swoon over your gorgeous kitchen tile.
xx,
Sherry
Once I finally stopped staring at your backsplash I could appreciate all your fall touches! Oh man that tile! And those apples look delish- can't wait to try that sauce!
So so pretty. I'm always feeling at home with your gorgeous style. And I've been obsessed with that Aztec throw.
Your home is beautiful and warm with the perfect touches of Fall! I can't get over the tile in your kitchen…it's stunning! And heck yeah, bring on Fall! I'm ready for warm lattes and boots 🙂

Your house looks gorgeous for the lovely Fall season. You have done everything with such perfection and just enough to transcend smoothly into Autumn in such an elegant way, without overdoing it with the orange or pumpkins. Lovely kitchen vignette in the tray.
FABBY
Thank you for the inspiration! Everything looks beautiful and those caramel-drizzled apples…oh my!
