{Best of 2014} Recipes + Parties

Is there anything better than Winter Break?! No school or schedules, lots of food and family, and the opportunity to just snuggle down. But while I’m not thrilled to see the break come to an end, I am excited for all that lies ahead for us in the coming weeks. I promise to share details soon, but we need to let all the fine print settle before I spill my guts. But I will say, there was a lot of activity at our house this weekend, and we have a rockstar real estate agent!

I’ve been sharing some top posts of 2014, and today I’m wrapping up the recaps with your favorite recipes and parties. And I use the term recipe loosely…I’m more of a preparer than a cooker. So it’s safe to say these are all simple dishes and get-togethers.

The last one was hands-down your favorite, and I loved all of your messages, posts, and tags showing me your batches. I was right about the addictive powers, right?! But you were warned!! Are you a preparer-person or a cooker-person? Be sure to check out the rest of the {Best of 2014} below. hat are your favorite type of posts to see here?

  3. Yum! I'm actually more of a cooker-person, but preparing is nice, as well. Can't wait to hear your house deets- so exciting!

I made the polka dot cake last week for my 30th birthday soiree and it was SUCH a hit! I loved it and the pink icing and glitter spray I added didn't hurt either 😉
