I’m a long-time fan of tarte products… in fact, it makes up half my makeup cabinet! They’re known for their high pigment and incredible coverage (plus, the yummy smell!), but they’re also a clean, vegan, and cruelty-free brand made with high-performance naturals. Eyes //

tarte is known for their gorgeous shadow palettes, and I’ve been a fan since my friend and makeup pro, Suzie Moldavon, introduced them to me! They’re highly pigmented, long-wearing, and arranged for easy application. Plus, they smell amazing! (For real, have you ever smelled tarte shadow?!)

There are tons to choose from, but tartelette in bloom and tartelette toasted palette are definitely among faves. I adore the new tartlette Juicy palette, too, but that sold out the week it was released! Fingers crossed for a restock soon because I have some fun makeup looks to share with y’all.

And do I even need to tell you about the fake awake pencil?! The best trick for brightening eyes and balancing redness, I apply it to my lower waterline every day. It’s beautiful in the corner of your eye and brow bone, too. If you only buy one thing, let it be fake awake!

The big ego brow & root camo kit is a recent find, and my roots are happier for it! This powder fills brows, covers grays and roots, fills in thinning hairline gaps, and even works with patchy beards!

The Amazonian clay formula blends seamlessly and adheres to hair and skin for long wear that is waterproof and wax-free (but not sticky or stiff). I use the larger angled brush to better blend my roots between highlights, and the small precision brush for filling in my brows.

Face //

The timeless smoothing primer is unlike any I’ve ever tried. It’s truly like a spackle for pores, smoothing and filling them for a flawless finish!

If you need a bit more coverage with your concealer, the creaseless concealer covers the darkest circles, but is hydrating enough to not settle in fine lines. (It’s like Shape Tape for us older gals!) And I’ll use the quickie blending sponge for blending and smoothing concealer and foundation. I love how quickly it dries, too!

Lips //

Bright lips are my jam, and I live for a great pink! tarte has some of the best pinks that I’ve been reaching for for years! (Don’t worry, they have other shades, too!)

Color splash lipstick is a creamy, long-wearing formula with tons of pigment. For everyday at home (and under my face mask), I always wear maracuja juicy lip . It provides just a touch of color, but tons of hydration and shine!

I recently picked up the maracuja juicy lip in ‘clear’, and love to layer it over my more pigmented lip colors for extra moisture and shine. It also revives faded color without having to re-apply the lipstick.

I’m always looking for new products to share, and these are the latest in my trial runs. So far I’m super-impressed with the color and application of the Amazonian clay blush, and I’ll report back on the pore appeal refining pads after another month of use.

Sidenote: I never share beauty products until I’ve tried them out for several weeks.
