Amazon Fashion Finds | February

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend!! I’ve had the best two days in Austin with the Kendra Scott team (and some new blogger friends!). Yesterday, we spent the morning at the Children’s Hospital, then got to experience their flagship store. Today we’re touring their headquarters, meeting more of the team, and learning so much about the company.

It’s inspiring to see what Kendra has created and the joy she spreads. My wheels are definitely spinning on how I can do more good, both in my local and Sugarplum community. I’m just beyond honored be one of their brand ambassadors again this year!

But today is time for your favorite monthly series, Amazon Fashion Finds! I started these Fashion Finds last Summer, and they quickly become reader-faves. It takes some intense digging to find the good stuff, but I love the challenge of discovering such gems! And remember, I’d never share anything with you that I wouldn’t wear myself, or recommend to my best friend!

Warning, this month’s haul was a GOOD one and I had trouble narrowing it down… so it’s a little longer than usual! Here’s the best of the batch…

Sizing info: I’m 5’4″ 120-ish pounds, and usually wear an XS/0 and 26 jeans. My fit tips and size recommendations are included with each description. 

Tees & Tops //

Valentine’s Day is next week, and thanks to Prime delivery, you can have this darling tee in plenty of time to celebrate. It’s soft and slightly oversized, with a small cuffed sleeve and longer length. There’s several colors and patterns to choose from, all perfect for the holiday and beyond.

I grabbed these peplum tees as fun Valentine options, but will actually end up wearing them all spring and summer. Such a cute shape with forgiving fit, I love the feminine tiers and longer length. So cute with boots and jeans now, and shorts later. The white isn’t sheer at all, either!

When I realized the ‘Good Vibes’ tank was in your top 10 Amazon favorite buys of 2019, I had to check out the long sleeve version! And turns out, it’s just as good!! Super soft with a nice drape to the material, it’s cool and lightweight with a relaxed fit. The colors are so fun, and of course the message a good one!

Another fun graphic tee find, this ‘Mom Mode’ is the perfect weekend wear. It’s lightweight and soft, but feels more like a shirt than a sweatshirt, with minimal stretch. Several color options available on this fun tee.

Apparently Punxsutawney Phil declared spring is coming early this year, and this sweater is perfect for the transitional season. A thick ribbed knit, it’s light and extra-stretchy, with fun color stripes. Tailored enough for work, or darling with jeans… even shorts in a few more months!

This top had me instantly swooning! I love the subtle puff and the elbow length sleeve for a chic top that’s anything but basic. It does have a slightly-rough poly feel, and I wish it were a little longer, but it’s great with high or mid-waisted pants and jeans. Super versatile too, easily transitions from work to weekend.

This lightweight v-neck sweater is super soft and incredible quality. The slight balloon sleeve gives it a touch of femininity and extra style. Wear it with trousers for work, or casual with flats and jeans.

Pullovers //

I’ve been living in pullovers since the holiday, and Amazon delivers some of my favorites. This hooded pullover has a cute sporty feel with color blocked stripes. It’s not overly thick and plush, so you could easily layer a puffer vest over. I like that the black stripe is on bottom, creating a longer leg line when paired with black leggings.

Fit Tip: I sized up to a medium for a longer, relaxed fit for leggings

If you’re a hoodie lover, this pullover is for you! Incredible quality, it’s a great weight and lined in super-soft fleece. This brand delivers quality pieces that wash and wear so well. Available in tons of colors, too.

We’re spending every other weekend at the volleyball courts (literally), so I wanted something to show my love and support of the game… without screaming ‘Volleyball Mom!’ This hooded pullover is perfect… so darling, and super soft and plush. Comes in other colors, as well.

Jackets & Vests //

I hit the jacket jackpot this month, and I couldn’t be happier!! First up, my favorite find… a faux-leather Moto jacket that easily looks four times its price!! So well made with an amazing fit (not too masculine!) and perfect length for everything from jeans too dresses. And what’s even more fun, is the layered look with a sweatshirt hood!

Wear it hooded for casual styles, or zip it off for a more streamlined look with dressier styles! It’s like 2 in 1. Plus, it’s not stiff or too floppy… just the right weight!

This faux-leather was a close second, with a feminine fit through the shoulders and waist. They both look amazing in person… so well made with the perfect shade and texture! It comes in tons of colors and styles, and has amazing reviews for each.

Every closet needs a jean jacket. Or several jean jackets. I won’t mention how many I have, but when I find one that fits well at a great price, I have a hard time walking away. I especially love them for spring, as a cute layer with skirts and dresses. This one from one of my favorite Amazon house brands is a keeper! True denim with a touch of stretch, it has a relaxed fit through the shoulders and arms, and comes in several great washes.

Another closet staple is the utility jacket! I shared this one last month… it’s unbelievable quality and an awesome find!! A thick cotton twill, it holds its shape and is the perfect spring and fall layer. I love the tall collar and drawstring waist for a flattering fit. I grabbed it in this soft pink for brightening up my spring transitional outfits.

Another repeater… I loved this teddy jacket in brown so much I ordered the black. And yep, it’s just as good! Ridiculously soft and warm, but without being heavy and bulky. It’s basically like wearing a soft cloud. As you saw in yesterday’s Sugarplum Style post, I can’t stop wearing them!

I’ve actually had this vest for over a month, but it’s sold out every time I try to share it! Fingers crossed it holds, because hello cute!! It’s the same vendor as my beloved herringbone vest, so it’s incredibly well-made and good quality. The sherpa is a tight weave that’s soft, yet structured. So cute dressed up a bit with a collared shirt and flats, or keep it casual with jeans or leggings.

Another darling leopard find, this puffer is too cute for words!! It’s a traditional quilted puffer, with a slim fit that doesn’t overwhelm the frame. I love that the background is white, making it great to wear all the way through spring.

Pants & Skirts //

Are you ready for some darling pants? That also fit and flatter?! Yeah, these paper bag pants deliver in every way. The wide waistband is comfy and stretchy to accommodate a range of sizes, with a cute paper bag shape and bow tie. The legs are straight with a slight taper at the ankle, and the fabric has just enough give.

They do have a slight poly feel, but aren’t thin or cheap. So easy to wear for work or a night out. But FYI, there are several listings for these pants (I know, I ordered from them all)… and these were by far the best. I paired it with the darling puff sleeve top from earlier in the post.

Excuse me while I have a Sharon Stone moment. No, not that moment… that time she wore a Gap shirt with a fabulous skirt to the Oscars! This skirt is such a fun statement piece, but without the statement investment. It’s a great medium weight with good movement and beautiful graphic print. I paired it with a stretchy Oxford for a classic fit… I love the elbow sleeves!

Dresses & Jumpsuits //

Meet my travel outfit this spring and summer!!! Whoa mama is this a comfy one!! The jersey knit is thick and soft, and a great mid-weight for smoothing over lumps and bumps on the bum and thighs. It has an elastic waist and drawstring, and is completely bra-friendly. I love the elastic at the ankle, too, so I can pull the jogger-style pants up a bit.

The perfect little black dress, that’s anything but boring! It’s a thick, stretchy crepe material that hugs and smooths, but still has great movement. I love the little sleeve and collar, and the flounce hem gives it sass and personality. The darts create a flattering silhouette and it’s perfect for everything from office to cocktails to weddings. This is a little morbid, but I recently discovered my closet lacked a go-to funeral dress, and this one is chic, yet appropriate.

These next few dresses are for my office gals. I would have lived in these in my corporate days… flattering, chic, and so easy to throw on and go! I loved outfits that didn’t require any thought, and always made me feel put together. This flattering dress is a stretchy jersey with faux wrap on top, wide waistband, and a-line skirt. So many patterns available, you’ve got Monday-Friday covered!

Another office-ready dress, this one is a true wrap style, similar in fit and feel to Diane Von Furstenberg classic dresses. I love the little cap sleeve, soft jersey feel, and flattering ruching at the waist. This one is perfect for office to happy hour, too.

This red number make a sassy statement! Made of a thick, stretchy crepe, it hugs and smooths your frame with subtle sexiness. The flutter sleeves add so much style, and are great for concealing upper arms! I love the black one, too.

Okay, I almost didn’t even try this one on… the material felt thin right out of the bag. But fortunately the pattern won me over, and I tried it anyway. And so glad I did, it’s incredibly chic with heels for work or sandals for vacation! The top is a shirt dress, with a full midi-skirt and tie waist. The sleeves have an elastic band so you can wear them long or balloon-style at the elbow. It’s lightweight and silky soft, but not sheer.

Accessories //

So many fun accessory finds this month, including these two statement rings and Yurman-lookalike bracelets!

And I love this quilted crossbody so much, I had to grab additional colors. For $20, you absolutely can’t beat it!!! The strap is also removable, so it’s easy to change up the style with these fun bag straps. Add the green and red strap to the black bag for fun Gucci vibes!
