Amazon Fashion Finds | December + My Amazon Gift Guide

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend!! It’s going to be a good one around here… first up, our son comes home for Winter Break tomorrow!! I’ve been looking forward to this long break since that August day we dropped him off on campus!

Even though our house is decorated, and we’ve been doing a few festive things here and there, I’ve been holding back unleashing my full holiday spirit until he gets home. All that changes now… our weekend is chockfull of holiday parties and our annual trip to the Dallas Symphony! I literally can not wait!

But today is time for your favorite monthly series, Amazon Fashion Finds! I started these Fashion Finds last Summer, and they quickly become reader-faves. It takes some intense digging to find the good stuff, but I love the challenge of discovering such gems! And remember, I’d never share anything with you that I wouldn’t wear myself, or recommend to my best friend! Here is this month’s best of the batch…

Sizing info: I’m 5’4″ 120-ish pounds, and usually wear an XS/0 and 26 jeans. My fit tips and size recommendations are included with each description. 

Sweaters & Cardigans //

You may have noticed that most of my top finds recently have been from one of Amazon’s house brands… Goodthreads, Daily Ritual, and Amazon Essentials are my faves. The quality is on-par with any department store, the prices are great, and they’re usually all on Prime with free two-day shipping and returns.

This sweater is a Goodthreads find, and such a good one! It’s super-soft and stretchy, and not too heavy or bulky. In fact, I kind of wish it were a little heavier! But it will be great for layering, and is definitely not sheer or thin. It comes in several solids, but I’m always a sucker for stripes.

The mock neck is subtle and relaxed, and the side slits are great for wearing it out or tucked. I paired it with the wide leg jeans from a few months back…such a fun silhouette, and crazy comfortable!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS sweater, but would prefer a size up for a slouchier fit. Jeans are true, I’m in a 2.

Same sweater in the cutest gray and ivory stripe. I love the wide ribbing on the wrists and hem, too. I paired it with the softest and stretchiest dark wash jeggings for an easy and comfy combo. I love the fit and feel of these, and the belt loops mean I can actually wear them as jeans, not just leggings!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing size XS sweater, but would prefer sizing up one. The jeans are true, I’m wearing XS-short for a cropped length.

This heart sweater is giving me serious J.Crew vibes, but for a fraction of the price! It’s a nice medium weight for wearing alone or layered over a collared shirt. It comes in several colors and patterns, too. I paired it with the same jeggings…see how they just look like traditional jeans? Except with the comfort of leggings!

Let’s chat cardigans… I found two winners for sure! First up is this thick, wool-blend sweater. It’s heavy and warm, but not bulky, with an open front and ribbed pockets. Wear it with boots or jeans, it’s a great winter-weather cardigan.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing size XS sweater, and the gold sneakers are true to size.

This cardigan is softer and a little more lightweight, with a longer length and fun hood. The pockets are relaxed and it has a touch of stretch to keep it’s shape.

Tees & Shirts //

A great white tee is harder to come by than you’d think. It’s got to have the right thickness, stretch, and fit. So you can imagine my excitement when I slipped this tee over my head and found it checked off all the boxes! I can officially declare this a perfect white tee! I’ll layer it under cardigans and jackets, or wear alone in warmer months. It also comes in a slew of colors (I’ve already order more!)

This tee is made of the same great cotton and stretch, but in a long-sleeve, v-neck version. And yep, it’s perfect, too!

I wore this Merry tee on Stories the other day and my messages blew up! Clearly you love a holiday graphic tee, and I don’t blame you! This one is super cute, with a relaxed fit, soft fabric and cute little sleeve cuff. I love the simple font, but other styles are available, too.

I love a good plaid, and classic tartan is my go-to this time of year. I have several shirts from this brand, and this one does not disappoint. It’s a brushed cotton, but not as thick as flannel, in a great plaid with all the best colors for layering. I also love the petite collar that keeps it shape, giving it a feminine fit.

For a more casual style, I layered it under this fleece-lined puffer vest. The quality of the vest is incredible, and it’s warm without being too bulky. It’s a touch longer than traditional puffer vests, so cover much of your bum. #bonus It comes in several colors, but the white is so fresh for Winter.

And just to show the versatility of a great plaid shirt, I also dressed it up with a fun pleated midi skirt for a festive holiday evening look.

Another good plaid option, this one in a relaxed boyfriend fit. It’s crisp poplin and lightweight, and wears like a tunic (so perfect for leggings!).

Pullovers & Jackets //

One of my favorite categories when it comes to Amazon Hauls…Amazon really know how to do pullovers! I’ve shared this one before, but love it so much I ordered another color. It’s super soft sherpa, with a tall collar and half-zip. I love the open hemline so it hangs rather than hugs.

As for the leggings, you know I’m a hardcore fan of these Lululemon-style leggings (under $25!)…but some of you prefer more support and compression. So I squeezed myself in to several pair before declaring these the best option!! I broke a small sweat getting them on, but once in place they’re crazy supportive and comfortable, with no pinching or digging at the waist. They’re really opaque, too, so no skin is showing through.

This pullover combines the coziness of a sherpa pullover, with chic leopard! It’s incredibly with a kangaroo pocket and adjustable hem to wear it open or tighter. It comes in a ton of color options, this one is the ‘C-white leopard.’

The pullover works with leggings, as well…such a cozy combo! And these leggings are actually fleece-lined, so they’re extra warm and cozy! They’ve got just a touch of stretch to move with your body, but not so much they lose their shape or sag at the knee (like many fleece-lined leggings). I wouldn’t work out in them, but they’re a great option for colder climates.

This pullover has a cute hood and fun colorblocking options, and a bit thinner than the previous options. It’s silky-soft sherpa with a banded hem. I’d probably pull the drawstring out of the hood to streamline it a little. Oh, and notice my sneakers? I love these slip-ons I shared last month so much I ordered a lighter, neutral color. I’m obsessed!

One of my favorite pullover finds to date, this one is incredible quality and super soft. It’s fleece-lined for extra warmth, and has a tailored, less slouchy, fit than most pullovers.

My daughter loves a traditional crewneck sweatshirt, so I was on the hunt for her. We both loved this graphic ‘ Ciao!’ with the classic font and fun hue. It’s not as thick and cozy as a traditional sweatshirt, but more of a shirt material.

I loved this teddy bear zip-up jacket…so well-made, heavy and warm with the cutest hood, but sadly it’s a touch too big for me (even to wear oversized). But if you’re a small or larger, grab this jacket in a size down and wear it for me! And yes, I wore the perfect pocket tee under everything…I didn’t take it off the rest of the day!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing size XS and it’s too large, definitely size down one.

Pajamas, Shoes & Bags //

Okay…let’s wrap things up with pajamas and accessories. And you know if I’m only sharing one pair of pajamas, then they’re really good. Really, really good!! Y’all…I literally can not get enough of these Jijamas pajamas!! They’re stupid soft and comfy (made from the same pima cotton as newborn’s pjs!!). Changing into them is the best part of my day.

I’ve had the same pairs for years, and they feel as good as the day I got them. They wash and dry beautifully, too. I grabbed this pair for Mr. SP’s Christmas and can’t wait to hear what he thinks!

Pajama Set

I found two fun bag options, both great for your dressier styles, or jazzing up the every day. The quilted bag comes in every imaginable color, and a great classic shape that mimics designer styles. The tweed is a fun shape with faux-leather chain strap, and a great mix of colors. Both are incredible quality and you’d never guess the price!

And these slip-on sneakers…I love hearing from those of you just as obsessed as I am with them! They are literally light as a feather, but with great cushion. I wouldn’t work out in them (not enough support), but they’re definitely my new mom uniform! I wear them with leggings, jeans, joggers and sweats.

Fit Tip: They’re true to size, and I wear them sockless.
