Amazon Fashion Finds | August

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend ahead! We have a whole lot of nothing on the calendar this weekend, and I’m thrilled about it! The adjustment from summer to school schedule has us all a little wonky, so hopefully we can get on track after some rest. With school well underway for both kids, it seems odd that it’s still August. Is this the longest month for you, too?

No question it’s been a crazy month, but you know I’m not about to miss your favorite monthly series, Amazon Fashion Finds! I started these Fashion Finds last July, and they quickly become reader-faves, and even though it takes intense digging to find the good stuff, I love the challenge of discovering such gems!

And remember, I’d never share anything with you that I wouldn’t wear myself, or recommend to my best friend! Here is this month’s best of the batch…

Sizing info: I’m 5’4″ 120-ish pounds, and usually wear an XS/0 and 26 jeans. My fit tips and size recommendations are included with each description.

Let’s kick this party off with tops, and whoa nelly did I find some great wardrobe essentials! First up is this button-up shirt in the softest, relaxed cotton with a relaxed, yet feminine fit. And I’m going to make a bold statement here…it’s right up there with the best I’ve ever tried!

And let me be clear…I am very particular about my button-ups! It’s a great weight for wearing alone or layering under sweaters, comes in a slew of amazing colors, stripes, and plaids, and has enough length to wear out, tucked, or tied!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a XS

Button Shirt | White Jeans

Every wardrobe needs a fresh black and white tee, and not only does this one have an excellent fit, but it comes in a $16 2-pack! It’s super-soft, stretchy cotton knit with a great shape, slim through the shoulder, and hip-length. It’s instantly classic with jeans or shorts, and a great layering piece with cardigans in the Fall.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS

Essential Tee | White Jeans | Long Inseam Distressed Shorts

I never met a stripe I didn’t love, and this pullover is no exception. It’s a mixed material, with the blue a stretchy, woven knit, and the stripes a jersey cotton. It’s soft and comfortable, with a relaxed fit, and several fun color combos to choose from.

Fit Tip: I sized up to a small for a relaxed fit.

Striped Pullover | White Jeans | Sandals

This dolman tunic was a surprise favorite this month, and I know I’ll be living in it for the transitional season. It’s incredibly soft and stretchy, and drapes beautifully. It feels like your favorite sweatshirt, but has a chicness about it that’s darling with jeans or leggings.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, so I’d size down if in-between.

Tunic TopWhite Jeans | Sandals

The ‘Good Vibes’ tank and tee have been so popular, I was excited to see they released a fun new ‘Sun Kissed’ option. Thick and stretchy cotton knit, it’s bra-friendly and extra long.

‘Sun Kissed’ Tank | Long Inseam Distressed Shorts | Sandals

We’ve found a handful of really good jersey jumpsuits in recent months, but this is the first jogger-style I’ve loved. And I do mean love! It’s a comfy jersey knit in a great medium weight, with an elastic drawstring waist and banded cuffs at the ankle. It’s bra-friendly and would be so cute with a jean jacket and sneakers or sandals. In fact, I think I just found my new travel outfit!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small

Jogger-style Jumpsuit | Sandals

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, then this skirt isn’t new…I’ve been wearing it on repeat! But since it’s an Amazon find, I wanted to be sure and include in this post. It’s a silky soft material that moves and flows, with a comfortable pull-on elastic waist. It’s incredibly lightweight, without being sheer, and perfect for hot days or transitional weather. It comes in several color options, and I’ve already got another one on the way!

The bodysuit was a favorite find a few months ago, and probably my most-worn item this Summer! It’s so good with skirts and wide-leg pants, and will be a great base for cardigans in the fall.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small Skirt and Small Bodysuit.

Bodysuit | Midi Skirt | Jean Jacket | Sandals

This is the same dolman tunic from earlier, but this time I paired it with amazing leggings. They are crazy-thick and feel more like a knit pant than a legging, so they’re darling with flats and sandals now, or boots and booties later. The wide waistband is stretchy, and they have a comfortable mid-rise fit. I can’t recommend these enough!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS in both

Tunic Top | Knit Leggings | Sandals

Okay, one of my favorite categories this time of year…casual dresses are so easy to throw and go. And most are perfect for transitioning to fall, simply by adding a jean jacket! This crewneck swing dress is from one of my go-to Amazon house brands, and the quality is always spot-on.

It’s a medium weight jersey knit, super soft, and great swing. Wear it with sandals or sneakers, add a jacket and pendant necklace…the perfect base for so many outfits. And the longer length means it’s great for busy moms and teachers, too!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS

Jersey Swing Dress | Sandals

Same dress in stripes, and you can see how darling it is with a jean jacket!

Striped Jersey Swing Dress | Jean Jacket | Sandals

How could I not love this bold striped dress?! Not only is it so chic, but it’s soft and stretchy cotton knit, with pockets and great swing! I’d love it belted, too, or add a jacket and statement necklace. So many styling options with this one!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small

Striped Midi Dress | Sandals

I shared a similar dress to this one a few months back (find it here), and it sold out in a hot second…so I was thrilled to find this version. (Pretend I steamed the bottom!) It’s a little shorter, but with the same sweet ruffle neckline and fun color block pattern. It’s gauzy light and soft, but fully-lined.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small

Color-Blocked Dress | Sandals

I love the sporty meets girlie style of this fit-and-flare dress. The top is a fitted tank with a flattering a-line skirt, in a soft and stretchy cotton. It falls to the knee, and is darling with a jean jacket and flats. Perfect for teachers!

Tank Fit-and-Flare Dress | Sandals

This t-shirt dress is casual and sassy, with a slight body-con fit. It’s a super-soft cotton knit in a great medium weight and lots of stretch. I’d wear it with sneakers and a jean jacket.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, but would prefer a size up for more relaxed fit.

Crewneck T-Shirt Dress | Sandals

Amazon has become my surprise source for so many party and workwear dresses lately, and this flattering sheath dress is another winner. It’s incredibly thick and stretchy, with a flattering high-waist fit. It zips up the back and falls to the knee. Layer a blazer or add statement earrings, it’s perfect for work and evening wear.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Size 2, but would prefer a 4

Houndstooth Sheath Dress | Heels in ‘Nude Nubuck’ | Tassel Earrings

I’m a sucker for lace overlay fit-and-flare dresses, and this one is no exception. It’s a fitted top with adjustable straps, and lightweight flowing skirt. But it’s the back that makes the dress…criss-cross straps and a plunging ballerina-style scoop. It’s sassy, but so feminine and pretty!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small

Lace Ballerina Dress | Heels in ‘Nude Nubuck’ | Tassel Earrings

The material of this one is a little different…a little crisp, but super stretchy…but the neckline won me over. Slight cap sleeves with a layered bodice and full skirt. The silhouette is so flattering and timeless.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small

Audrey Hepburn-style Fit-and-Flare Dress | Heels in ‘Nude Nubuck’

This is one of my Top 5 all-time favorite Amazon dresses (I shared it a few months back), but sadly was a touch big for me. Well happy day because it now comes in a wider range of sizes, and I immediately scooped it up. I only wish it came in more colors! The halter-style neckline is incredibly flattering for showing off the shoulders (everyone has good shoulders!), with a fitted waist and full skirt.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a XS

Lace Overlay Fit-and-Flare Dress | Heels in ‘Nude Nubuck’ | Tassel Earrings

Okay, it wouldn’t be an Amazon haul without pajamas, and this month I found some great options! This shorts set is the softest jersey knit in a comfortable medium weight. The elastic waist sits high with a slightly longer inseam.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a Small

Striped Pajama Set

This set is soft jersey as well, but the kind that always feels cool to the touch. The v-neck is trimmed in satin, and the inseam a bit longer.

V-Neck Pajama Set

And lastly…I’m totally smitten with this month’s accessories finds!! These tassel earrings are so well-made and come in tons of colors!! They’re 3.5″ long, so not overpowering, but don’t disappear, either.

Tassel Earrings in Red Ombre | Tassel Earrings in ‘Black’

I spend an hour a day looking for my keys…usually in the bottom of my bag!! I’m obsessed with these bangle keychains for only $13!! It’s easy to find in your bag, or slides on your arm for hands-free. And ready for this…they come in 39 colors!!

Bangle Keychain in ‘Champagne’ | Bangle Keychain in ‘Leopard 2’

So many fun finds this month, right? As for the most popular from our Amazon Fashion Finds of July, here are your Top 5:

Sleepwear Set / Softest jersey knit with a fun split back
Cap Sleeve Wrap Dress / Your workwear just got elevated
Hair Dryer & Volumizer /  Professional blow-out hair in one step!
Scoopneck Bodysuit / Just replaced my favorite tank
Pull-On Skirt / Flirty and fun

And for my random non-fashion buys, we got this fancy-dancy coffee maker and I’m obsessed!!! It makes single cup coffee like a regular Keurig, but also espresso shots, lattes and cappuccinos, plus has a built-in frother for hot and cold drinks. Little Miss and I are also solid fans of this new hairdryer/brush thingie, and sounds like many of you are, too.

And lastly, we just got a new toilet that’s a little on the tall side…so I caved and bought this at your recommendation. And let’s just say…y’all are genius! Oh yeah, and I sent this goodie box to my son at the dorm…I think it will be a hit!

Hi Cassie, it’s not actually about this post but I think on Instagram you were wearing a red stripe tee with a star on it. Also you had on adorable tennis shpes with stripes. I believe they were Walmart. I can’t seem to find them anywhere. Can you repost these 2 items please. Thank you. Gloria
