Somehow, another year has flown by, and today I’m another year older. I won’t wax poetic about aging like I’ve done in the past (here and here), I’m just full of gratitude for this life I’ve been given, and the blessings each new year has brought. This past year was chock full of blessings, hardships, broken relationships, mended relationships, sickness, healing, and a whole lot of love. I’m grateful to God for the good stuff, and even more so for getting me through the tough stuff. My cup runneth over!
So how am I celebrating?! Besides a lot of Mexican food and cake,
and a few goodies from the Nordstrom sale…I’m celebrating by gifting
one of you lucky ducks a new St. Anne tote from Barrington’s new Fall Collection! And I figured I’d make it a double-whammy and show you the fleece cardi (aka, baby kitten wrap) I raved about Friday!
Besides being lined with kitten fur (not really, but feels like it), you can wear it closed by buttoning the top, or leave it open to drape. I’m wearing it with a tank top here, but it’d be cute with collared shirts, as well. And fyi, I washed and dried mine on low, and it laundered beautifully.
Note the cardi isn’t long enough to cover your bum, so if you wear it with leggings, layer a longer top underneath. #covertheladybits
I wore this to bop around with my mom last weekend, and she practically ripped the cardi off me to try it for herself! I guess I know what I’m getting her for Christmas! And for size reference, I’m wearing an XS regular. You can check out all the colors here. I can’t imagine a cozier gift for your mom/sister/sister-in-law, etc…but trust me, you’d better get two, because you won’t want to give it away!
I paired the outfit with Barrington’s new reptile print tote…doesn’t it look like real skin (it’s not!)?! I still carry my striped one, but this is a fun option for Fall. I love how you are able to customize your colors and pattern, and add a monogram…the leather trim is such a classy touch, too. We’re looking at the bag here, not my overgrown bangs.
