8 Darling Transitional Tops Under $40

Bienvenudos a Mexico! We arrived safe and sound, and were settled in with guacamole and margaritas within record time. We even received a sweet, oceanview upgrade, so it’s possible I’m never coming home! (See it all on the ‘Mexico’ highlight video in my Instagram profile.)

Yesterday we ventured south to Tulum, and explored the Mayan Ruins and the darling beach town. I think today has heavy thunderstorms, so there will be napping, reading, and spa on the itinerary! Oh yeah, you can find my vacation styles so far here.

But let’s switch gears…who’s ready for some fun and affordable styles? And styles you likely won’t see on anyone else!! Y’all loved my last Marks & Spencer haul, and I’m excited to be back with some more amazing finds!

Marks & Spencer has quickly become one of my favorite retailers to shop. The prices are amazing, unbelievable actually, considering the style and quality. And since it’s a British-based brand, you’re not likely to see the same styles around town.

Since Spring is just around the corner, I focused on finding knits, cottons, and tops that are perfect for transitioning to Spring. And all are under $40…plus an extra 20% off today!!

Sidenote: They’re UK-based, but transactions are in US dollars, and express shipping is free over $50!

Be still my heart…stripes and leopard all in one glorious pullover!! I love the shades of blue, with contrasting cuffs and hem. It’s fitted and stretchy, and would look amazing with a pencil skirt or trousers. Even better, pair it with the matching knit skirt for a show-stopping set.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a US 4 (I always size up one in European sizes.)

Leopard & Stripe Pullover | Matching Skirt

Every closet needs a soft, cotton stripe, and this one kicks it up a notch. Substantially thicker than a traditional tee, it’s a thick and sturdy knit that holds its shape and form. The contrasting cuffs make it a little special, too.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a US 4.

Striped Knit Top

I was instantly smitten with the colorblocking of this pullover. It comes in this fun navy and red combo, or go red and white for a brighter style. The knit is soft and extra-stretchy, with a slight mock collar and fun size zippers at the hem.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a US 4, but could use a US 6…go up 2 sizes.

Colorblocked Pullover with Side Zip

This sweater is perfect for those of you who have a chilly or late Spring. It’s a mostly-cotton, textured material that feels heavy, but is totally breathable. I love the bright ivory, especially when paired with white and cognac.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing US 4

Spring Sweater

Another pretty ivory option, this one with fun asymmetrical stripes. It’s warmer than the last one, in a thick, stretchy yarn. The mock collar is loose and lightweight, so it’s a great early-Spring piece.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing small

Striped Mockneck Pullover

Cheetah, leopard, animal print…whatever you want to call this one, I call it perfect! It’s a silky-soft viscose fabric, so it feels and wears well. Pair it with jeans for weekend, heels for date night, or trousers for work…this one is incredibly versatile!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing small

Leopard Blouse

Okay, so this pullover sweater is a little warm and heavy for Spring, but I couldn’t resist showing you such a darling animal print at this price! It would be so cute with a chambray collared shirt, but it’s soft enough to wear alone. I love it with black jeans, too.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing US 2

Animal Print Pullover

Okay, let’s move on to a few tees perfect for Spring and Summer…starting with these cutest stripes!! The tee is a thick, 100% cotton that feels so luxe and expensive…but it’s $11!!! #bamwhat!? It’s easily as well-made and sturdy as $50+ tees! Just another reason why I’m falling in love with Marks & Spencer!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing small

‘Paris’ Striped Tee

Another fun graphic tee, this Friday Friyay is the same thick cotton, and same unbelievable price! I love how punchy the yellow is…pure and not too muddy! Wear it alone, or so cute layered under a blazer or jean jacket.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing small

‘Friday’ Graphic Tee

Oh hey cutie!! Little Miss wanted in on this Marks & Spencer action and had a little too much fun shopping the site! Fortunately, the kids selection has amazing prices and quality, too…here were two of her fave finds.

Fit Tip: She’s wearing 12-13 years

Rainbow Sweater

Striped Knit Top

And just because, here’s a little Mollie Sugarplum for you. She literally stands between my feet the entire time I’m taking these pics! I swear she’s part cat!

Have I convinced you to take a look at this fun retailer? Marks & Spencer is wildly popular in the UK, so I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before they find their way here. Until then, I’ll keep their awesome website bookmarked, and take advantage of free express shipping (my orders usually arrive within 2-3 days!).

Hi! If we click on the marks and spencer link through your website and search around, will you still get credit? I know each site is different. I was on there looking at stuff for my hubby and kiddos and wanted to ask before I purchased. Thanks!

You’re so sweet to ask! Yes, as long as you’re in the same internet window that opened when you clicked from my blog, the credit stays with me. I hope you found some fun things!

Hi Cassie!! I love the Amazon finds….. and I’m sure you’ve thought of this, however, it would be really cool if you/they could create a link for just you and what you recommend. Much easier to shop old and new Amazon finds and maybe a better way for you to get credit. Love your content and recommendations.
