Thanks for your love on yesterday’s home update! I’m thrilled you liked the gallery wall…and our posing pup!! I did try to make Maggie join her, but she wasn’t having it. I think Maggie is ready for a vacation from the puppy! 😉
Speaking of, this cold has gone on long enough, don’t you think?! I’m ready to pack up and dash off somewhere warm! It doesn’t help that Spring cuteness has hit the stores, giving me all kinds of wanderlust and Summer vibes. These darling finds have me ready for vacation mode!
1  //  Pom Pom Cover-Up Rainbow pom-poms…enough said!
2  //  Straw Crossbody Bag I adore this woven cross body bag, and it’s half the price of most this style! And as if the bag weren’t cute enough, wait until you see the fabric options for the lining!
3  //  Colorful Luggage I wouldn’t might waiting at the baggage carousel for this colorful set! It comes in a fun polka dot option, too.
4  //  Two-Tone Wedge Espadrilles Blush pink and neutral tan make for the perfect Spring sandal, and the wedge means they’re actually comfortable for walking!
5  //  Halter One-Piece Swimsuit A super-flattering suit with a leg-lengthening cut, and available in tons of vibrant colors. The halter tie gives a custom fit, and more support for larger chests.
6  //  Flat Sandals I held out buying these sandals for years, then wore them more than any other pair! They go with absolutely everything from dresses to cut-offs, and make every outfit more chic. I have the super-neutral ‘Makeup’ shade, but all the colors have me swooning.
7  //  Gingham Belted Dress The cutest dress I’ve seen all season…with a figure-flattering cut and darling Spring gingham pattern. Wait until you see the back!
8  //  Flamingo Clutch Would you believe me if I told you this bag is under $15? Well it is! Carry it as a Summer clutch, or tuck it in your pool bag to hold lip balms, combs, etc.
9  //  Ruffled One-Shoulder Dress This dress just screams Summer wedding/party/date night, doesn’t it? It comes in several colors, and the one-shoulder + ruffle combination has me swooning.
10  //  Oversized Sunglasses Most oversized sunglasses make me look like a bug, but these are the perfect amount of oversized without being ridiculous. And you can’t beat the $14 price tag!
11  //  Tassel Earrings Do I really need to talk about these tassel earrings again? I’ve worn them 87 times in the last few months, but there’s nothing that transforms an outfit quite like they do…especially in the bright, sunny new colors!
12  //  Striped Straw Hat Straw hats are not only necessary in the sun, but the easiest way to cover vacation hair while still looking chic. I love the stripes on this wide brim option.
13  //  White Denim Jacket No matter where you vacation, it’s bound to be a little chilly somewhere. I love jean jackets over just about everything, and this white one is a fresh take on the classic style.
14  //  Straw Market Tote Why not improve your outfit while hauling gear to the beach or pool?
15  //  Classic Pajama Set I love the lightweight, crisp cotton of these classic pajamas, and even paired the top with cut-offs for a relaxed look during the day.
16  //  Stacked Bead Bracelets Mix and match these colorful beads for a custom arm party every day.
17  //  Sunglasses Case Choose from hundreds of patterns and stripe combos, and even add your monogram on this darling sunglass case.
18  //  One-Shoulder Eyelet Top Clearly I’m still on the one-shoulder bandwagon, and can’t wait for tops like these! The eyelet adds a little dose of sweetness.
The rainbow luggage is so cute! Such a refreshing look from the boring and overrated marble suitcases I see used by bloggers all the time. 😉

Annnnnd now, I want to go somewhere warm and sunny.
Oversized sunnies link is incorrect – I love them and want to buy!! Thanks 🙂
Sunglasses link didn’t work for me either. That gingham dress! Darling. Hope it makes it’s way home to your closet.
Ooops, sorry about that! Here’s the correct link: http://rstyle.me/n/cwcgv7pw5w
Thanks!
Sorry Jen!! Here’s the correct link: http://rstyle.me/n/cwcgv7pw5w
That halter swimsuit breaks my heart every time you post about it! I have a long torso also, but I’m starting from a size 14 and in my experience one size up won’t be enough for length:(
I have a long torso, too, and sizing up 1 was enough for me!! Sometimes they make long-torso versions of their suits, fingers crossed for one in this style!
Love your vaca posts. Can I make a request for how you carry/organize your passport and other papers? I’m looking to up my airport game with a cute case. 🙂
I have a passport cover, and I tuck my boarding pass in it. As for the rest of my papers, I tuck them in my laptop case in my tote bag/carry-on. I love the products from Barrington for the durability and extra style! http://rstyle.me/n/cuchsypw5w (use code SUGARPLUM10 for 10% off your order!)
I have a darling Kate Spade passport cover as well and use it a TON! It also has the credit card slots, so perfect to not have to pull my wallet out, esp. in the airport. And it’s a great location for those little things you have to hold onto while traveling too, like customs forms (esp. in Mexico, where you have to hold onto them the whole time), return ferry tickets, laundry claim checks, etc. Needless to say, it’s a great travel accessory! There’s a super cute Kate Spade passport cover / luggage case on super sale right now. 😉
As always, I love them all. So cute
We’ve been looking at vacation packages lately. Winter in Canada’s capital can be very, very cold and/or just supper weird all around (minus 35c one day, plus 3c the other – the 4 feet of snow start melting away and than the next day it freezes all the streets over). We’re officially done with it…..and there’s still 2 months to go!!!! So we’re kinda pretty set on leaving on a trip in mid-March (a good time because when you come back, there’s only a month or just a few weeks to go). Luckily, as Canadians we have the option of getting the cheaper resorts of Cuba which is probably what we’ll do this year as well (last package we saw was $780 CAD per person for 7 days, all inclusive). Perfect beaches, warm weather, time away from work and the kids (yeah we’re not taking them until they’re at least 10 ;p). Now the only disappointment is that we’re both chunky right now (I’ve been having to squeeze into my jeans lately……think I’ll need a new bathing suit before I go). I need to head back to the gym…..but I won’t get that pesky holiday weight off soon enough for the trip. Oh well, I’ll just embrace the beached whale life ;p
Lucky!! I’d love to go to Cuba…especially for such a great price!
