Y’all are the sweetest people ever!! Your kind comments on yesterday’s Back-to-School Style post just made our whole week! It’s crazy to think that some of you have watched my kids grow up for the last seven years…the documentation of our lives is one of the reasons I’m so grateful to have this blog.

And athough the kids are back in school, it’s still hot as blazes out…so Summer of Style continues! This week I’ve got an office-appropriate combo that’s also a great transition to Fall. And bonus, the graphic skirt just went on super sale!

Mama Sugarplum and I found this skirt when working on a Dressing Room Diaries post…and we both fell for the graphic pattern. In fact, she went home with the shorts (also on sale, see them on her here), and I couldn’t resist the skirt.

I’m a sucker for an a-line fit, and the optional sash belt made it even more special. Plus, it’s made of a thick woven fabric, making it perfect for Fall, and even paired with black tights for Winter!

Fit Tip: I’m wearing a 0P which is a tad snug in the waist…so while I like the petite length (I’m 5’4″), I’d stick with your usual numeric size.

The sweater top is a great basic, but the flutter sleeve makes it special. It’s darling worn alone, but thin enough to layer under a blazer or jacket later.

Your office may require a more conservative shoe (these are my fave pumps), but how could I resist fringe?! Especially on clearance!
