Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend! We’re headed home today, but it’s a fast turnaround because Little Miss and I leave again on Sunday! We decided to use her Spring Break this year to tour colleges, and she’s chosen several SEC schools.
I’ve never seen any of them, so I’m just as excited as she is… plus, it will be fun to have one-on-one time with her for a few days. Wish me luck… road tripping with a teen, while also being emotional about her impending graduation, might not be all sunshine and rainbows, ha!

Sorry but, Little Miss will know the right fit school when she sees it. The more she sees, the more she will know. Enough said. Have fun on those college tours, they are great fun! Hi! I am going to a pre-wedding party in early June in Texas and the theme is Boots and Blazers so I am thinking about a dress and ankle boots to go with the theme. I like the black floral tie-front dress that you are modeling but do you think long sleeves would be too hot for early June in Dallas? Would love your opinion, thanks!
Long sleeves in Texas in June would not be my first choice!! I am confident that you can find a different dress with shorter sleeves, lol! HOWEVER, if your event is fully inside, the AC will be blasting so long sleeves wouldn’t sound quite as crazy. xoxox, C
Hope you have a great trip with Little Miss! I’m a Mississippi girl so I hope Ole Miss is on her list, it’s a beautiful campus and Oxford is such a quaint small town. One of my other favorite SEC towns is Knoxville, so pretty right on the river. But most of the SEC schools are great too, I’m sure she’d enjoy any of them.
