Happy Wednesday, lovebugs… how was your Valentine’s Day? I hope it was full of love and chocolate! Mr. Sugarplum surprised me with an abundance of Girl Scout cookies, so it was a good day! (Thin Mints all the way over here, what about you?).
Last week I was in California shooting our next GLxHSP Collection (stay tuned for all the launch day scoop tomorrow!), and this time we chose dreamy Malibu as the backdrop. Not only did it have the beachy-coastal vibes we wanted, but between the ocean and the canyon, there’s so much to do!
Our Airbnb had a 3-night minimum, so we took advantage of the extra day, strapped on our sneakers, and headed for the canyon! There are miles and miles of trails around Malibu to choose from, but we went with Solstice Canyon Trail for its moderately challenging, 3-mile loop we were able to trek in a little over an hour… you know, so we’d still have time for lunch near the water afterward! #priorities

This fleecy sweatshirt is super soft and great quality. It’s the perfect relaxed fit without being shapeless.
Fit Tip: I sized up to a Small for a roomier fit.Â
I have a closet full of sneakers, but when it come to true comfort, I always reach for my adidas. The Ultraboost has been my go-to sneaker of choice for workouts both in the gym and on the streets and trails… nothing compares to the support and comfort!
