Spring Style | Garden Party Perfect

Hello, HELLO! Do I have some fun for you today!! My darling friend Erin of the super-blog, Living in Yellow, launched the cutest new collection of Spring styles today at Nordstrom! It’s aptly named the Garden Party Collection, and it couldn’t be more perfect for all your springtime work-to-play events this season!

I was lucky enough to grab some pieces early, and am sharing a few of my favorites…starting with this eyelet one-shoulder ruffle dress!

Eyelet is the epitome of Spring, and this dress is perfect for parties, brunches, graduations, and more! It’s a sturdy cotton, and fully-lined, with a stretchy elastic top that stays firmly in place.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing an XS, but I’d size up if you’re in-between.

Sometimes a girl just wants to be a little ‘extra,’ so I styled it with these bold earrings. They are surprisingly light, and so much fun! The straw bag is a great neutral for all your Spring and Summer outfits…I added the scarf for a touch of color.

For a girl’s lunch or day of shopping, I paired my favorite tank and jean jacket with these bright paper-bag shorts. I love the the tie waist and slightly longer inseam. They’re fully-lined (with pockets!), and I’m so smitten with this cheerful yellow!

These would easily dress up for a fun Summer date night style, too.

Fit Tip: I’m wearing XS shorts and jacket, and size 2 tank. Go up half in the sandals.

I love the wider leg, too, for a flattering and comfortable fit, with no pulling. I see you eyeing the bag though…and I don’t blame you! Isn’t it TOO CUTE FOR WORDS!? The cutest little bucket style that’s actually usable!

And finally, I’m a sucker for a black romper, and this layered style just jumped to the top spot! Designed with a smooth woven material, it drapes beautifully and is so easy to dress up or down!

The layered style is very forgiving in the midsection, and slightly longer inseam keeps it flirty, but modest. It even has pockets! And just wait until you see the other colors and patterns!
