Happy Hump Day, friends. How’s your week going so far? Little Miss and I put together a daily schedule for this new remote learning situation on Sunday night… and let’s just say we’ve been practicing a very loose interpretation of it so far!
It’s gotten a little better each day, and I’m hoping we’ll have more of a rhythm by next week. This situation is unprecedented in every way, so I’m not putting too much pressure on ourselves.
How about a break from virus talk and cozy pajamas, and instead dream of sunshine and spring days! You know I’m a stripes-lover, and Talbots has some of the cutest, preppiest stripes for spring! I shot these looks just a few weeks ago, but it already feels like a lifetime!
These colorful stripes are bringing sunshine to my days, and this tee is soft and comfy for pairing with jeans around the house.

The material is thick and soft, making it more than just a tee. I love the bright mix of colors, and the shoulder buttons make it a little special.
Fit Tip: With Talbots sizing, I go down one in regular, and up one in petite. I’m wearing a petite small top.

Their slim ankle jeans have an invisible slimming panel, creating a more comfortable and flattering fit. I love these for the extra room through the hips and bum, but no gapping at the waist.
The cropped length is perfect for flats and sandals, and the lighter wash great for spring.

The second look is a classic shirtdress in a crisp cotton poplin with a touch of stretch. It’s got a petite collar and button sleeves… and of course, pockets! It’s lightweight and soft, too, making it comfortable for steamy days.
The tie belt is removable, so you could swap it for a contrasting belt for a pop of color.
