How was your Fourth?!? We started the day with our town’s parade, and ended it with too much BBQ and a huge fireworks display…it was pretty much perfect. Minus the bug bites. I wore this dress, which was equally patriotic and kept me wrapped up while lounging in the grass.
Today I’m sharing another Summer of Style outfit, this one is a go-to on the steamiest of days! It’s hard to get much cooler than a tank and favorite cut-offs.

I’m always looking for lightweight fabrics for the Texas heat, and this striped tank caught my eye not only for the fun print, but the way the cotton and linen blend drapes away from the body. The sequin palms just up the cute factor!
Cut-off shorts are a tricky fit, so I was thrilled to find these…and I haven’t stopped wearing them! I like the slightly relaxed fit, and although they do stretch throughout the day, they still manage to keep their fit across the bum. (No saggy crotch!)
Fit Tip: I’m wearing my usual size 26, but this is how they look after a few wears.

Great tank; it would be perfect for my upcoming trip! It looks like J Crew only has XS left. Think it would it fit a 5’3″ 34C+ (that’s a small C!) ?
