Project Little Miss | Study Nook Reveal

Thanks so much for the comments on yesterday’s post…I’m thrilled you’re on-board with my peep-toe bootie obsession! I know they sold out yesterday, but be sure to keep checking back, because new stock looks to be coming in everyday.

Today I’m excited to share the latest progress on Project Little Miss…her new homework/creative zone!

She’s entering her final year of elementary school #insertuglycry so it’s time she had a dedicated spot that allows her to focus on her work…but also be a special area to cultivate her creativity.

The original room plans called for the desk to be in her room, but Santa had other plans when he brought the world’s largest Barbie house this past Christmas. It now occupies the only free wall space in her room, so we’ve decided to utilize the little zone just outside her room for now. Turns out, it was the perfect spot for a desk area, and the surrounding Bonus Room had space for a dedicated reading nook, and play set.

That dimple rules my world. #allthehearteyes

I think it’s pretty obvious she’s thrilled with the outcome, and we had so much fun creating it together. The hardest part was narrowing down which PillowFort items we wanted to use….every last one is too-cute-for-words, and so affordable (especially right now, since it’s all on sale)! In fact, a few items have already ‘found their way’ to other parts of the house!

This little space already has her excited for back-to-school, and new creative projects…there must be magic woven in that darling collection!? Check out the other PillowFort makeovers created by my blogger-pals Kristin Jackson and Emily Clark over at the Target Bullseye and Good Housekeeping!

Be careful with the bean bag chair – I coincidentally almost bought one this week & then read a ton of reviews that it stained the carpet underneath it because the dye transferred! Seemed to be most problematic with red, so I don't know about the pink…

Love, love, love your website! Just stumbled across it last week. This room is adorable. I'm having the hardest time finding cute metal buckets, especially the white and black polka dot. Can you share where you found them? Thanks!
