Fall in Texas is a glorious thing. Like in most places, I suppose. But Texas has a crisis of seasons, and we get the rogue 80-degree November day. Doesn’t bother me though, I view it as a last chance to wear favorite items in my closet, before packing them away until next year. The cut of this top says Summer, but the colors together make it still suitable for Fall. Around here, anyway.
I wear leopard like a neutral…pairing it with almost anything that goes with black or brown. As for mixing it with other patterns, I’d probably stick with just stripes or solids. When it gets chillier, I’ll probably add this denim jacket or this cardigan, and swap the shoes out for something like these.
These kinds of ruffly tops are my favorites…so great alone, or peeking out of a jacket or sweater. Maybe the ruffle reminds me of a popped collar, and you know I love that look.
Mr. SP thinks I pull my skirts up too high. But I think it makes my legs look longer. And since when is he Tim Gunn, anyway?!
What do you like to pair with leopard? Have you tried it with stripes? See this skirt in another outfit here, and a different take on green & leopard here. Or just go ahead and browse all my {Outfit Inspirations}.
Hi Cassie,
You look adorable as usual. This combo is one of my favorites. Where is the inspiration photo from? I would love to see more!
fabulous! never thought to match green with leopard and its gorgeous!
Damn Girl!! Your waist is TINY!!
Sassy as usual! Love it!
Fantastic outfit Cassie. The green looks really great on you!!
Love kelly green with pretty much anything. Gorgeous with your leopard skirt here, especially. I would, of course, need to pair it with warm socks, boots, and a heavy coat. Your fall sounds divine…sigh…
You are so beautiful Cassie! So jealous of your thin waist. 🙂
Wow Cassie, this outfit looks gorgeous on you and the colors are so complimentary of your skin and hair. Just beautiful!
Pa-pow!!! ** hottie alert! hottie alert! ** You look amazing, Cassie! Mental note to myself – Shelley, put down the Halloween candy already!
One of my favorite combinations! Although I haven't worn it like this, and I am smitten. You look amazing!
LOVE PENCIL SKIRTS. Funny, my husband says the same thing but I swear it elongates and skinnies people! 🙂
Sometimes you look so cute I could just bite you…not biased, even if we are related 🙂 GREAT look – tell Mr. SP he's usually right, but not on this one! xox
Love this look on you! And isn't it HILARIOUS when the man in your life gives his opinion on your outfit!?! Chris was laughing at me the other morning that I was wearing my Hunter boots AGAIN. He started joking that he wants a pair. So, don't be surprised if you see him roll into the office in a polo, khakis, and some Wellies. I know you just lol'd picturing that. 😉
I have a leopard skirt and I only hope I look half as good as you do in it! Love it with the green!
Love it Cassie! Can't get enough of leopard and love it with the green! Perfect girl and I do the same thing with my skirts #shortgirlsunite
Love, love this look Cassie! Green and leopard are two of my faves! You look amazing in the skirt!
Why does he care where your waist is? Your bum looks great in that skirt!

Congrats on the new baby!!! So exciting!! xo
love this color print combo! and wow you sure look amazing!
Obsessed with you. That's all. 😀
I am loving the jewel tone greens and I love it paired with the animal prints. Great outfit and lovely rooms. Thanks for sharing
Love the green and leopard – it's a favorite combo of mine.
Do you have a difficult time curling your hair with the angled bob? I certainly have. I think mine is more angled though.
The shorter pieces in back are more of a challenge, so I just let them do what they want! 🙂
I love this too – but I couldn't find the skirt on jcrew factory. Am I missing something? I've been looking for one for a long time! thanks!
Hi Aimee — the skirt may have sold out! 🙁 Keep checking, bc sometimes they bring the more popular items back!
Perfect!!
