Well, did you get yourselves in to some debauchery this weekend? We kept ours at a minimal, or that’s all I’m reporting anyway. We had a fun time, and it did my soul good to be with such dear friends.
It’s been awhile since our last {Smitten} post…which usually features a random home decor purchase that makes me unbelievably happy…regardless of the price point. In the past it’s been a tea towel, planter basket, and even a pillow and books. This go round, I’m having a love affair with my new Moroccan Leather Pouf from Lulu & Georgia.

Since rearranging the Family Room, there wasn’t enough room for the white chair’s matching ottoman. Which was fine by me, because I’m not much on matching. But I am all for having a place to prop your feet. The Moroccan Pouf is perfect for feet-propping, but doesn’t take up a lot of space. I went with the dark tan leather, and love the warmth and texture it adds.

The leather had a ‘fresh-from-the-farm’ smell when it first arrived, and I think Maggie wanted it for her boyfriend. The smell faded after a few days, and she and the pouf decided to just be friends.

This pouf is always on the move…as extra seating, a side table, foot-prop….and it looks good everywhere! I don’t know how we went so long without one!?

The size makes it easy to tuck out of the way, if necessary.
