{Halloween} Easy Treat Boxes

Hey friends, and happy Monday! How was your weekend? Ours was full of fried pumpkin pie and s’mores….which translates to a day at the Texas State Fair and a camping trip! We’re squeezing in so much family time during this mini Fall Break that the kids are probably ready to go back to school. Babygirl is especially excited because she can’t wait to give her teacher the little Halloween treats we whipped up.

Hi Sugarplum | Halloween Treat Boxes

Martha started some drama last week with her flippant comments about bloggers (how’s that foot taste, MS?), but that doesn’t negate the fact that I reach for her supplies almost every time. Just like her attitude, they really are superior.

I found the paper mache boxes for $1 at Michaels, and two coats of craft paint later, they were transformed. ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ is our favorite movie this time of year, so we modeled our boxes after Jack the Pumpkin King.

It was a struggle not to eat all the candy corn. I eat mine by layer, starting with the white tip. TWSS How do you eat it?

Obviously I’m smitten because I couldn’t stop taking pictures of them. The boxes and I had quite the lengthy photo shoot. You can see other Halloween Treat Gifts here and here…perfect for neighbors, teachers and friends. And don’t forget tomorrow is our little Halloween Linky Party…make sure and link up all your Halloween projects, past and present!

I’m headed out-of-town tomorrow for an exciting last-minute trip. Follow along on Instagram (@cassiesugarplum) and Facebook to see where I end up…and with whom! #tease #Imokaywiththat

these are so cute! They remind me of those boxes that the little wish dolls came in that we played with as kids! This is a great teacher gift, not too much but yet thoughtful and creative!
