I remember writing my very first blog entry and wondering what in the world I was going to say. And here we are 100 posts later, and I can’t seem to shut up! I also wondered who in the world would be so brain dead to want to read what I have to say about design, and travels, and fashion and cheap DIY home projects?!
As it turns out, a few of you! And while I write this blog as my own valium creative outlet, I’m so grateful that you take the time to read it….and even more so when you leave your comments and feedback.
My family has grown so accustomed to my the oddities of writing a blog that they don’t even comment when they see me painting sticks:
Or in an unflattering crouch to get the perfect shot of a dessert:
Or getting them to take a picture of my outfit:
Or pulling soup cans out of the trash:
Or posing them for pictures on trips:
Maybe because they’ve also been on the receiving end of my manic projects.
One guy got a new room:
The kids got a new bathroom:
We’ve all reaped the benefits of a new kitchen:
And the Sugarplum house is a little prettier overall:
Mr. Sugarplum says he’s proud of the work I’m doing, but I think he’s mostly grateful I’m not chattering on about fabric and ModPodge to him anymore! I have an outlet…and an audience! Lucky you.
