Hi Sugarplum!

{Field Trip} CB2

May 14, 2013

This isn’t a real and true Field Trip, since I’m not actually touring the brick-and-mortar CB2. But that’s only because there’s not one in my area! If there were, I’d be field-tripping more than my wallet could handle! CB2 is the younger, hipper, (and most importantly) more affordable cousin of Crate & Barrel. I can always rely on them for cool lighting, furniture, and home accessories. Now they’ve sweetened the pot by partnering up with Robert and Cortney Novogratz…the husband-wife designer dream team…for a CB2 and Novogratz Collection.

The fearless and colorful collection is inspired by the Novogratz’s Brazilian home. (Total side note, but how cool are you to say, ‘My house in Brazil.’ Which not only indicates you have multiple houses, but that you’re lucky enough to have one of them in Brazil!! Think they’d want to adopt a grown woman?!)

I could live in a house full of these pieces. How about you? The Dupla Credenza is my favorite, but the Figueira Swing Chair would be fun for the backyard.

The Novogratz aren’t likely to adopt me, but there is a chance me and 3
friends could win a one-week stay in their Brazilian vacation home! Or a
$100 CB2 gift card!

Just enter the CB2 and Novogratz Brasil Sweepstakes before June 3rd for your chance!

Follow CB2 on their social media channels for more updates on this Brazil trip of a lifetime.

But if you win, you have to take me. What’s your favorite piece from the new collection?

You're on…let's go! But, you have to promise to take me if you win. 😉 That doubles our chances, right?!

I've never even heard of CB2. What is wrong with me?

Um YES PLEASE! I'm thankful there's no CB2 here because we would be totally broke. There are no words for that swing. I'm in all sorts of love!

Glad to hear you love CB2 as much as I do! My husband and I visited NYC on our Babymoon a couple of months ago and I got to visit CB2 live and in person for the first time! I share some of my favorites here: http://blueistyle.blogspot.com/2013/03/CB2LiveAndInPerson.html

My brother suggested I might like this blog. He was totally right.

This post truly made my day. You can not imagine simply how much time I had spent for this information!

we have CB2. I just went and looked at all of this stuff. The purple table is rad, the folding chair also very cool (too bad my husband hates teal … but i may be able to sneak it in SOMEWHERE if i try hard enough). The swing is weirdly stiff and flat. come on out to la and we can go shop together!

Also: I think that sectional is the one in the British Air Club Class lounge at Heathrow. I was just there, and my first thought opening the CB2 catalogue when I arrived home was, WOW, BA IS ON IT!

I met Robert & Cortney at the CB2 in DC last fall for their book-signing…they are the nicest people & I love their designs!
