Happy new week, friends! How was your weekend? We dropped our son off for camp yesterday…two full weeks this year! Plus, his 16th birthday falls during that time…so I’m doubly sad about him being gone! But it will be fun to celebrate him when he gets home. We won’t speak of the whole impending drivers license thing!
Obviously I spend a obscene fair amount of time online, so new finds are always catching my eye. Especially the great deals! And with the Fourth of July just around the corner, I can’t help being drawn to the red, white and blue. Here are some darling new finds I’m loving for the Fourth, and all under $50! .
one // I’m a sucker for breezy tops that go with both shorts and jeans, and this one has darling ruffle cap sleeves and tassel ties. The embroidery makes it extra special, and look pricier than it is!
two // This top feels like a comfy tee, but taken up a notch with stripes and smocking. I’d pair it with white jeans and strappy sandals for a casual, but super-chic outfit.
three // I’m a fan of tassel everything, especially these fun statement earrings. They’re super lightweight, but add a big punch to your style. They come in a slew of colors, but I’m partial to the red with the striped top of #2!
four // Crossbody bags are perfect for travel, and simple Summer outfits. This one adds a pop of fun color, and the red is surprisingly versatile.
five // Tote bags are my go-to this time of year…for everything from pool days to trips to the library with the kids. I love the chambray stripes of this one, and it’s machine-washable! (This tote is darling if you prefer mesh for the sand.)
six // Cherry prints are darling and timeless, and this bowl is so fun for serving all your delicious Summer salads. (Find some of my fave recipes under my Food tab.)
seven // A girl can never have too much leopard, and these affordable flat sandals have just enough to make every outfit chic.
eight // I adore the fresh scent of citrus in the Summer, and this new Grapefruit + Persimmon combo is both tart and fresh…literally like walking through a grapefruit grove. The candles burn clean for hours and hours, and a single diffuser freshens our entire downstairs.
nine // I’m not sure if it’s a Southern thing, but I’ll monogram anything not moving…especially my mail! I love a good address stamp, and this company offers the cutest designs I’ve seen yet. Plus, I love that they’re completely woman-owned and operated.
ten // We’re working on a patio and backyard spruce-up, and how can you resist stripes and gingham for outdoor pillows? These come in a slew of color combos, but red, white and blue is always a good idea for Summer.
eleven // Have you ever slept in a bed so comfy you immediately peel the bedding back to get details on the sheets? (Please say that’s not just me!) Well, that’s what I did after our first night in Montana! (We stayed in our family’s condo found here.) I expected to find some insanely-expensive, over-the-top thread count sheet…but instead I found these under $30! I can’t even tell you how soft, yet crisp they are (just look at the 24k reviews!!!)…I promptly ordered a set for every room in our house. I know people are particular about sheets, but you’re going to have to trust me on this one!!
twelve // A flowing maxi, perfect for Summer dinners and pool days…and under $50! #done (This high-neck option is a long-time fan favorite, and this one is finally on sale, making it under $50.)
If you like a literal take on the holiday, this graphic tee is a cutie. And in beauty news, I just picked up this highlighter pencil, and I’m obsessed! What great deals have you found lately?

I really like the red, blue and white colour scheme, even though we don’t celebrate the 4th of July where I live. Great picks, I love the red crossbody bag!

I am always drawn to red white and blue in the summer. Those sheets sound amazing at that price!
Thank you SO much for sheet info; I just now ordered white and it’s only $21 for a Queen set!!! Just last night I put a nice, new set on I bought elsewhere and they were like sandpaper; I wound up sleeping on top of my comforter to avoid them! They were super soft before washing, but then morphed into scratchy awfulness in the wash. Can’t wait for mine to get here tomorrow!!
Let me know what you think!!!!
I am with you on Tote bags……love them. Especially for summer.
Also, thanks for sharing info on sheets. I was washing my sheets yesterday and thought how bad I needed a set of these.
So, Positano was lovely! Just wanted to share….also, the food…amazing.

p.s. those sandals are presh.
Awwww, Positano!!! I want to go back!!!
Great picks! I love those t-strap sandals from Old Navy. They’ve really been on top of it with their summer sandal collection this year.
So you convinced mt to try the sheets. I can’t wait to get them.
We stayed at a hotel once and both hubby and I LOVED the mattress. It was the most comfortable thing we’ve ever slept on. We pulled that bed apart trying to find out who made it, etc. Turns out it was only made for hotels, so we couldn’t actually buy it. We were bummed about that. Still haven’t slept on anything that great since.
Good to know I’m not the only person who does that!! I’ve checked the mattress at the Westin before, and they actually sell them now!! Let me know what you think about the sheets!!
Polyester sheets???
I wonder if they hold smells over time?
Not sure I can be convinced…

Haha!!! I totally understand…I was right there with you! If I hadn’t slept on these for a week, I wouldn’t believe it either!
What a darling dress! And that necklace is gorgeous! Happy summer! XO
