There was a bit of a lukewarm response to the Decoupaged Pumpkins yesterday. I’m picturing you all reading it with a quirked eyebrow, and muttering, ‘Mmmmmkay, those were a stretch. I think it’s time for someone to take a bloggy break!’
It wouldn’t be the fifth first time my sanity was questioned. But I think they are pretty cute in the Front Porch setting!
I felt like the porch could use some height, so I brought out the candlesticks that normally live in the Entrance Hall. (You can read how I transformed the candles in this post.)
I grouped two of the Decoupaged Pumpkins with one of the Tricked Out Pumpkins leftover from Halloween. I prefer my outdoor seasonal decor to look natural, not mass produced, so the leaves, jute and sisal worked well.
The lanterns (which I madeover here), are filled with straw, acorns and mini-pumpkins.
One of our pumpkins had a little accident last year, so we had to replace the welcome mat. We’ve been really happy with the monogrammed Ballard mat. It’s held up great, and isn’t too stiff underfoot. TWSS
Our Halloween Porch contained many of the same elements, so it was an easy transition.
Of course, this Fall Porch will be short lived, since Christmas is AROUND THE CORNER?!?!
Have you done much Fall decorating, or are you holding out for Christmas? Enjoy your weekend, lovebugs…I know I will! Tomorrow is my birthday and Mr. Sugarplum arranged for the kids to have a sleepover with the in-laws!! Woop! Is it awful that I’m really just dying to get back to my unfinished projects?!
So cute! Love this idea…I need to get some more decor for the outside of my home.
It looks great! Love the red doors as your backdrop. I just posted about my fall porch too!

I actually think the decoupaged pumpkin looks cool…
Love those candlesticks…
nice porch!
First, I think the pumpkins look really good and go well with everything on the porch. Those candles are pretty, too. Second, I think it's a little ironic that we both have the same name, both live in Texas, both LOVE LOVE Mexican food (my husband jokes that I could eat it everyday and that's why my BFF is a Mexican), your bday is tomorrow and mine is on Sunday. I guess it's the litte things that amuse me. 😉 Hope you have a great bday!
Love your decorating! You must be the best house in the neighbourhood! 🙂 xx
Such a great job! Love the leaves glued to the pumpkins, never thought of that before. And the tweed wrapped candles, perfect!
The porch looks great! Love the lanterns! Have a fan birthday!!!

LOVE what you've done with the lanterns!
I missed seeing the pumpkins yesterday, they are creative…haha! You are awesome.
I loved the decoupaged pumpkins, maybe I should've told you so?!? I have two white lanterns that need to be black so I'm stealing that idea too! See? We do appreciate you! 😉
PRETTY! I love how pretty and natural it looks. Great work as usual! Happy B-day Eve!!
Your porch and pumpkins look great. I really love those lanterns. I have a confession to make – I still have ferns on my front porch – not one pumpkin in sight! It feels good to get it out there- can we still be friends? 😉
I say, if you like it, then who cares what everyone else says? Happy Birthday.
They're so cute on your fall porch! Happy birthday tomorrow, Cassie!!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend full of lots of birthday love…and dessert (:

Your front porch looks fab! Have you considered entering all your pumpkin projects into the Guinness Book of World Records for most ways to dress-up a pumpkin?
I may be late, but I still wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday and thank you for all the fun blog posts! The humor you add really makes your blog one of my favorites.
