{Project Rewind} Breakfast Room Makeover

For this week’s {Project Rewind}, I thought I’d share the final Breakfast Nook from our last home. Seemed pretty fitting since we started the makeover of our new Breakfast Room this week (or at least started thinking about making it over!).

Like most room makeovers around here (except the ones where I’m held accountable, like the One Room Challenge!), our previous Breakfast Room evolution was a slow-go. So slow, in fact, that I started a new makeover on the space before the first one was ever complete! But who’s house is ever really complete?! The evolution is the fun part, right?

It was a small space, but we packed a lot of function in it…along with a lot of happy memories around that little table! You can see the full makeover here.

And of course, the most popular projects in the room were the {DIY} Galvanized Pipe Curtain Rods and Family Command Center.

It’s amazing how much organization you can carve out of a little corner. I’m missing the Command Center most, since I have absolutely no system in place in the new house yet. I think I’d better fix that before school kicks up again!

Tomorrow the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens for everybody (not just cardholders)…and I’ve been told they held sizes and stock back just for the public sale, so don’t worry about everything being too picked over. Make sure you pop in here first, I’ve got a jam-packed Dressing Room Diaries planned for you! Happy Thursday, lovebugs!

P.S. I’m off to the Haven Conference today…I can’t wait to be reunited with my roomies Jen and Megan…and meet so many of my fellow bloggers! Follow along the fun on InstaGram and Facebook if you’d like! Are you planning to be there, too? I’d love to meet!
