Okay, so truth be told, I wasn’t quite back yesterday. We had one of the shortest Girl Trips on record, but managed to squeeze a lot in to two nights. The seven of us have been the best of friends since Grade School, and taking trips together for over a decade…so we’re pretty pro about getting down to business. Sadly though, with each birthday, comes a slower ‘bounce back!’ I’ve rebounded now and ready to Re-Hash!
I mentioned birthdays are serious business in the Sugarplum House, and Mr. Sugarplum did not disappoint!
He started a week ago and seemed to bring home one treat after another! He ended with a surprise visit to my office and whisked me off to the Apple store! (How could he possibly know exactly what I wanted?!?)
I had intended for the mirror to go over one of the mantels, but even at 60″, it was too small. It’s still a great mirror at a great price,and I love it. And the iPhone 4 is rocking my world! Thank you so much, babe!!! {heart} You’re good at least until Christmas! (I kid.)
Then it was off with my girls…and the spoiling continued!
No, the baby shower was not for me…I told you we can squeeze a lot into three days! And the adult beverages were not part of the five minute shower. Our poor friend was forced to soberly observe us in all our Cute&Funny glory.
These girls are my second family…we have a bond and history that goes beyond just friendship.
And because I love them so much, this is where I’ll end the weekend Re-Hash!!! No unfortunate events that may or may not have ended with a “doctor” visit will be revealed! How so, you say? Not going there!
Thank you for all the sweet birthday wishes and spoiling!!! I’m so blessed, and I couldn’t have asked for a better 28th* birthday! Back tomorrow with Fall Decor, and some Thanksgiving projects this week too.
