Paper Packages Tied Up With String, These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

I LOVE buying gifts for people….and I love wrapping them up in pretty little packages even more!

Right after I featured the notecards from Pixelimpress in my Hostess with the Mostess post, I won my very first giveaway in Blogland, from Sarah at Flourish Design + Style! And funny enough, the giveaway was Gift Tags from Pixelimpress!!

I’ve never used gorgeous tags like these on my packages, so I decided to showcase them and let them shine!

Our tree is all green and white lights this year (we’ll tour the house tomorrow), so I went with a red and white color scheme on the packages to really accent the colors. I love how the gift tags make each present look extra special!

I continued my reign as the worst snowflake maker in history, by making a few for some packages (it is the theme of our decor this year). While I don’t love the snowflake designs, I love how cute the effect is with a bow or crystal bead glued to the center.

By using all the same color paper and ribbon, it made wrapping so much easier! Everything mix-and-matched beautifully.

(Little take-out boxes are my favorite for wrapping up gift cards!)

I’m about half-way done with all my gift wrapping, and besides a stiff back, I’m still having fun with it! I view each package as it’s own little masterpiece for the recipient.

Here’s a peek at the green tree and red packages…so festive!

So much for saving all the House Tour for tomorrow. How’s your wrapping coming along….or are you still shopping?!

Shopping done, wrapping not even started. These are adorable. You don't have to get me a present but can I just have one of the gift tags?? Ha!

Shopping almost done, what is bought is wrapped and hidden so hubby doesn't give it to them early! I wish my wrapping was that gorgeous but I have little two year old hands that love to destroy bows (I hid the presents from hubby… the kids know where they are)

Maegan could have used those tags for her cheveron post the other day, too cute!

Love the detail on the gifts. I think it is so much fun to come up with a new design for the gifts each year, and I think it is much more enjoyable to open them as well. I like the snowflakes, nothing like the look of homemade. You could always say the kids made them anyway 😉
